This is my Grandfather Frank Lucas Lee who was not only a great photographer, he was also a brilliant magician. It was thanks to him that I took up photography when I was very young and I have never lost my enthusiasm and fascination over the years.

I have always seen photography as a magical process ever since I first saw my first black and white print developing in front of me seemingly from nowhere. I thought it was my Grandfather with one of his magic tricks.
It therefore seems fitting that photography and magic go together and my Granddad proved that constantly.

He was a great magician and photographer who inspired anyone lucky enough to have met him.
